I am starting this newsletter to share what I’ve been writing and reading every couple weeks. This will be the one-stop shop to read what I have to say without having to follow me across Twitter, LinkedIn, my blog, etc.
Let’s get started!
LinkedIn: I’ve published a series of LinkedIn posts about building resilience the past couple weeks that may be of interest.
Blog: I posted a summary of Man’s Search for Meaning, by Viktor Frankl which reminds us that finding our personal meaning and purpose helps us build resilience. As Frankl says, “There is nothing in the world that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is meaning in one’s life.” And “suffering ceases to be suffering at the moment it finds a meaning.”

The Science of Helping Out from the New York Times: “Having a sense of purpose, and giving support to others, has a significant impact on our well-being.”
Some gems among these 68 bits of unsolicited advice from Kevin Kelly e.g. “You are what you do. Not what you say, not what you believe, not how you vote, but what you spend your time on.”
Recommendations:
Even though I have not yet read his book, Atomic Habits, I love James Clear’s newsletter. There’s a nugget of wisdom each week that makes me pause and think, and I often share his ideas with my clients. You can sign up here.
Upcoming:
If you’re an MIT alum, I am giving a webinar on resilience and mindset as part of the Career Lunch and Learn series this Thursday, May 7th, at noon Eastern. You can register here.
That’s it for this edition! If you can think of somebody else who might be interested in reading this, please share using the button below - thanks!
